I created, developed and filmed the concept of using emojis instead faces to illustrate a variation of bad experiences that people have with customer services.
More than an Emoji
We all have been on the receiving end of some bad customer service. We are often treated just like another angry voice by someone whose scripted sentences become less meaningful each time they repeat them. Personal is the last word we’d use to describe it.
I organised, art directed and filmed the social posts, where I coached the talent during each take. I found and recorded a voice over artist. Then I animated the emoji faces for each one of the videos. With all these assets collated I created the videos and posts for social media.
